Today I worked on updating my garden journal. Just looking through it brought high hopes for this year's garden. Thinking of putting in another square foot garden. More snaps! More dahlias! I've never had dahlias grow so well as last years did. I overwintered them in the garage---hope they come back. That's what gardening is all about isn't it---hope.

Just found your blog via Hope's Nostalgic Musings Flickr group. Would you be so kind as to direct me to some square foot gardening info? I've somehow gotten away from gardening and my heart is pulling me back! Thanks, and beautiful pictures on the blog!!!
Hey Tracy, Thanks for stopping by. I have the book on square foot gardening by Mel Bartholomew. His web site is: http://www.squarefootgardening.com/
I hope this helps!
I am hopping over from Trudy's Artistic Mother's Group. I am impressed with your garden journal... it is something I have always wanted to do but have just never done... add it to my list:) I was thinking I would make one now that I am done with the poetry journal.
I am looking forward to seeing your journal. I haven't read Mayes's new book, but I love her others, so if that is what is inspiring you I am sure it is lovely.
Thanks for the comment Heather. I hope you do start a garden journal---it seems I journal about every aspect of my life! Mayes' book is lovely---I highly recommend it. I'll pop over to your blog and check out your poetry journal.
Are you sure that YOU are not ME? I am sitting here is astonishment that after reading only a few posts, we have so much in common! Cats, Ripple Afghan, Garden Journal, Square Foot Gardening, Counting Your Blessings. . . what?
Don't fear, I'm not a cyber-stalker. . . but may be I'm your cyber-twin!
Ha! I know exactly how you feel! I've had that happen to me when blog-surfing. I'm going to surf right over to yours now.
